Even the blockbuster movie 2012 used the Physic Engine Blender is using: Bullit. In this tutorial we will discover some basics of the Physics and Game Engine possibilities within Blender, and make a small game where we can demolish a brick tower. It’s pretty addictive to destroy this tower with a small ball, using the arrow keys on your keyboard.  This tutorial is made using blender 2.49 (32bit). Modelling & Rendering a realistic perfume bottle

headerpb

In this short tutorial you’ll discover how you can make a Perfum Bottle in Solidworks and Render it in Blender (2.48a). Basic knowledge of Blender and Solidworks is recommended. Solidworks 2008 SP2.1 and Blender 2.48a were used for this tutorial.

Level: Intermediate

The first part describes the modelling. If you don’t have solidworks, you can try to model it using your program of choiche, or take any other random model and go to the second part, which will tell you how to set up the materials. Models are also available as download. This tutorial also explains how to export models from Solidworks to Blender.

~Blender 3D is an open source program which can be downloaded from

Level: Beginner

Welcome to my first tutorial. We are going to learn to apply displacement mapping in blender 3D. Displacement mapping is a common used technique in 3D world and is used for altering 3D shapes with image based textures. It can save a lot of time, because with a simple displacement map you can add heights and depths much faster as modelling them. Bumpmaps are usually black and white colored, white means higher and black means lower.
